It is not just one tooth, either. It seems like several of my molars hurt when l eat something sweet. This has only been happening pretty recently. What do you think it could be? Surely l do not have cavities in like four teeth? Thanks.

unfortunately, l was experiencing the same feelings when l ate sweets or cold food. and l ended up with 5 cavities. l was shocked. my dentist told me some people just have sensitive teeth, so thats entirely possible, but dont rule out cavities. now if only l had the courage to go get them filled! ah! lol

l had this when l was a kid, all the time. If l ate any sweets (hard candy) my teeth would hurt for hours. l went to the dentist and had several starts of cavities. Since then l stopped eating hard candy and have not had any problems with cavities.

Pain when eating sweet foods is a typical symptom of decay. Sorry, but you probably have at least one cavity.

Most likely you have cavities. l would definitely see a dentist for an exam. Small cavities are often the most sweet sensitive. Good Luck
