I am taking the Dental Assistant program right now and so far its easy,i like it, im considering hygiene after but the pre requisites looks so tough b/c im not good with chemistry or math.

If you are a DH, how much was your starting salary ?How is the job?

l was going to go into dental hygiene but did not start the program because l did not finish the pre reqs. Microbiology was very hard. l did not have to take math, but l did have to do chemistry. Also be ready for intense Anatomy & Physiology. l still would like to go back to school to finish because l am ready now.

Tough is an understatement. It is sooooo much information in such a short period of time. The classes move quick, the information is plentiful. You really have to be committed to school, you will not have a lot of time for anything outside of school, because it is so much information that you have to learn. It is heavy on the sciences..Biology, chem. So you will have to be ready for it if you decide to apply for the program.
