at my ortho office there are private rooms.

That is the nature of the procedures...they are not involved, and there is no need for privacy. In most offices the kids visit until it is their turn.

My orthodontist has a private room where she does everything. :) l think it would be kinda gross to watch people get their wires changed and stuff.

My orthodontist does not have private rooms either. l think it is so he can have access to more than one patient at a time. He just kind of goes around the room checking the technicians' work. You can not really see other people getting wires changed, etc. because you're too busy getting your own wires changed, etc.
