l just started noticing that my teeth have been feeling a bit funny and just now l realized that when l touch my one front adult tooth that it feels like it is slightly moving. The movement is not visible to the eye, rather l can feel it. When l say slight, l mean very slight.

Just so you know, l go to the dentist twice a year, brush, floss and use mouth rinse daily and have had no work done on my teeth...ever. Basically to the eye they are perfect and when l went to my dentist about a month ago she said everything was in great shape and that my roots are long and healthy.

So my question is, will this slight movement ever go away and what could have caused it? It seems to have appeared out of nowhere, as l have not had any trauma to my mouth.

Yes, it is fine. My son had an accident and one tooth was knocked out and the other front tooth was wobbly. But they assured him that it would be fine. And it was.

It is normal for a tooth to have a slight movement as you describe. It should not completely go away as it is normal. Keep going to your dentist as you have described to make sure there are no changes.

It may be a beginning of a problem and it is very good that you have noticed it. An early visit to the dentist may be scheduled. If it is quite some time your last x-rays were done, it seems time to do it now if your dentist agrees. You can also discuss splinting your tooth that is going mobile.
