l got an upper wisdom tooth pulled Friday. . around noon. 3 sutures, the dentist said it closed up well. It is now Wednesday evening. . . When can l go back to normal? When can l kiss, etc? Drink through a straw? Spit? Chew on that side of my mouth? Each fried crunchy stuff?potato chips? Not be freaked out about dry sockets? Really brush my teeth?
l have a bit of soreness, but no real pain. It feels kinda funny sometimes though. . . and I am terrified of dry sockets.

When you lose the sutures and the area is not painful any longer, you should be in the clear as far as dry sockets are concerned. l would expect 7 days or so, depending on the difficulty and how well you are following your post op instructions.
