l am getting braces tomorrow and im just a little worried because l do not know what exactly im getting the orthodontist said train tracks and blocks, but l do not know what that means. of course l know what train tracks are but can anyone tell me what blocks are, l cant find them on any searches, ????

l have braces : they suck but its all worth it at the end cause then you will have perfect white teeth and a gorgeous smile :D

the blocks are the actual little squares that will be cemented to the front of the tooth surface:)

By blocks he means the square silver part that go on the tooth itself.

He probably just meant u were getting regular braces. Do not worry about a thing, it wo not hurt at all while they put them on, it will just taste really bad for a while! The only time it hurts is when u get home, & then they will just be sore for maybe 2 days. My advice: stock up on ice cream & mashed potatoes. You probably wo not be able to eat anything else for a while, just because ur mouth is getting used to them & everything. It wo not be really bad, though, l was just as worried as u are! lol

do not be worried. your orthodontist has probably put on hundreds of braces and it does not hurt and in the end you will get nice straight teeth! :D

Blocks-
They glue blocks on the back of your front two teeth.
They Hurt*

But if you got spacers already, just know that is the worst part everything else is down hill!
And braces are totally worth the pain.

Well if you had your spacers already then by train tracks he probably means the wire and by blocks he means the brackets.
