l have an appointment to see the doctor on wednesday as l have sore gums but does anybody know of anything l can use to help relieve the pain untill l see the doctor

Corsodyl mouthwash. (not sure if l spelt it right). Sounds like you may need the dentist not the doctor though.

Try applying alum powder taste awful but it will relive your sore gums.

Hydrogen Peroxide is the official cleaner for the mouth and its really cheap. Swish your mouth with it, things such as listerine that have alcohol may burn!

i'm suprised by the numerous treatments that r being offered here without a proper diagnosis.

I've had patients complain of sore gums & it has been numerous things such as

irritation
burns
trauma
gum disease
abscesses
etc.

each diagnosis would lend itself to a specific treatment. Seeing those is like complaining of soreness in ur arm only to find out u have a broken bone but r fixing it with aspercreme.

please go to the dentist for a definitive diagnosis.

Just take ibuprofen until you see the Dr as it could be a number of things
