its in my 3rd from the right toothe on the bottom row. l dont think its a cavity because its not cold or sweet sensitive but l can literally poke the inside with a toothepick and it hurts lke heck. Also when l eat it doesnt hurt but it does when l brush my teethe. l also have a phobia for dentists >_> so if l need a filling or something will they at least numb my mouth?

it is a cavity.. it does not need to be cold or sweet sensitive to be a cavity.. if u ignore it it could get bigger or deeper & then it will end up being a root canal.. any time u go the dentist, if u r getting work done that will involve preparing a tooth for a restoration ie; filling . u will be numbed up, not just for ur sake but also for the sake of the dentist.. he does not want someone to suddenly get jumpy in the middles of a procedure.. if u have a phobia go to a dentist that will prescribe a light sedative to take before the procedure gets started or try using nitrous.

if it hurts when you poke with a tooth pick, it means you are touching the nerve. You may need a root canal treatment instead of a filling but your dentist is the best judge.
