im getting my braces taken off tomorrow, and l wanted to know if it would hurt or not.

it didnt hurt me and l have low pain tolerance. but it always depends on the person

defiantly not as much as getting them on. they take the wire/elastic bands off first, then start to remove the glue with a tool that kinda sounds like a drill and it may tickle you a bit. other then that, the result is defiantly worth any pain you may experience. unless your allergic to the glue or something. but do not think about that haha good luck

I've had braces twice and both times it didnt hurt at all when they took them off . . . It looked and seemed like it was going to but it just felt a little weird when they pulled the brackets off. Your teeth will hurt after like the 2nd day they've been gone and will hurt for about a week though which really sux :P But no and have fun! Its great to NOT have braces!! LOL

l just got my braces off yesterday!

Alright so the only step that really hurts even just the slightest bit is when they actually pull the bracket off each tooth.

It only hurts really though on the bottom front teeth, mostly u just feel pressure.

Also l guess when they strip the glue off you're teeth with that tool it can hurt a little bit but trust me, If l can take the pain, u can.

It is worth it trust me.
But on a 1-10 scale of pain.

It hurts at a 2.
a papercut is at a 4.

so think about it.

Speaking from my own experience, it hurt when l got braces putting in, but it did not hurt at all when l got it taken off.
