l used to do it ALL the time. But then l got my wisdom teeth pulled.and was unable to bite my nails for over a month. And l had to clip them. Then seeing how good they turned out l just stopped doing it. Some people have told me that they put bandaids around every finger to keep themselves from biting.

Go to a beauty supply stores(sally's) and get Bitter Nails/No Bite it taste nasty and it will help you kick the habit
