l can not see the bump, but l can feel it with my tongue. l had a minor eye infection / sinus (?) infection last week. Could there be some sort of drainage going on? l do not smoke and I am 38 years old...

this happens to me sometimes after l eat certain foods l notice it. it may sount gross but when it gets hard, l scratch it with my nail and it almost pops like a zit. you dont taste anything and you dont feel it anymore either. untill it swells up again after you eat something else that wakes it up.

This may be caused from stress. Stress can cause canker sores in the mouth. It can also be from something poking your palate such as a a piece of crusty bread. Rinse with warm salt water and it should be gone in a few days.
