l am 13, and l just got braces yesterday. They HURT!!!! What will make the pain go away?? Im already using Tylonal.....it doesnt work...

So here is the deal. I've had braces for 2 years now.
It does not stop hurting for about 5-9 days.
l had to eat porridge for 2 weeks straight, breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Honestly, l do not think that there is much u can do to help the pain. You can try popsicles or ice cream. But if it really hurts that bad, my friends have told me about Oragel. It might help. But u have to realize that you're going to have tog et used to it. It hurts everytime u tighten ur braces. When u tighten ur braces, it only hurts about 2-3 days & it is not as bad. So do not worry, the first time is the WORST. Hope u feel better[:
