So l have a very very very small gap between my two front teeth you can not see it unless you look very closely, l look at it every day because l am afraid it will get bigger, the gap is at the bottom of my front two teeth and the very top but the little gap at the top is even smaller

l know its not that noticeable now but will the gap get bigger in the future?
Oh also every time l go to the dentist he is either never there or says nothing!
My teeth are not bad at all but l think l need braces for a short amount of time, should l say or ask him?

if your about 16 and older, it wont grow anymore, because youve stopped getting taller and whatever. so
if your younger than your body along with your teeth has some more growing to do,

yeah l have a small gap it never changes it takes quite a bit of force to make it bigger. plus when ur molers grow in it will close the gap

If you go to the dentist or orthodontist they can fix that and especially because of the fact that it is small it will close quickly unless they use a bond but l suggest braces on the bottom teeth

It depends. If the gap is being stimulated all the time (like food stuck in the gap), it is going to be larger. However, the gap can sometimes become smaller (because the teeth sometime tend to move to ''average the space out'').
The most common reason for the gap is caused by a long labium frenum. Labium frenum is like a ''tie'' between ur lips & gum. If the labium frenum is too long, u will most likely to have the gap between ur two front teeth. In this case, u will need a surgery to cut ur Labium frenum & some ortho work. (In ortho, it is usually said to complete the ortho work first & then do the surgery to avoid resistance from fibroid scar.)
If u do not have a long labium frenum, the gap could also be caused by bad breathing habits & bad eating habits.
In general, my advice is to ask an orthodontist about. Consult them is the best way to solve the problem (and they will likely to find out more problem about ur teeth as well). You might need longer time than u imagine (there r much more about the relationship of ur teeth, not just closing the gaps)

PS. It is very important to find a good orthodontist to do it because unlike other dental work, u need to revisit every 3-5 weeks for about 2 years. You want to find someone u can trust & someone who is more experienced. If u r sensitive, then definitely find an orthodontist who is very gentle with ur mouth.
