The difference between in office whitening & store bought shitening strips is. price & accuracy. Both r made from exactly the same thing. hydrogen peroxide.

Go ahead & use the store bought strips, but do it slowly to avoid causing sensitivity & cut them in half to keep the strips away from ur ''fake tooth''.

l am assuming the fake tooth is already whiter that ur natural teeth (because often they are). If that is the case, just whiten ur natural teeth first & try to get them close to the colour of the fake tooth. Be sure to brush with a toothpaste containing fluoride to remineralize the tooth structure after whitening & to keep sensitivity to a minimum.

Professional whitening contains higher concentrations of whitening agents such as hydrogen peroxide. They also keep the stuff off your gums better to protect them.
The fake tooth will most likely not whiten. You will have to have something done there to match it. Depending on what type of restoration the fake tooth is will determine how much it will cost to replace or fix it. Your dentist can let you know.
