l had my wisdom tooth filled a couple of hours ago and as soon as the numbness wore out i've been in pain with it, l can hardly open my mouth wide and l can not touch my teeth together and barely eat! THIS TOTALLY SUCKS, wtf is up??
The dentist did say that the hole in the tooth was pretty deep?!

Just tonight should, do not chew anything like gum for a while maybe, have your mom give you some medicine or something if it hurts, get her permission first though

Whoa..to begin with seldom do dentists put filings in ''wisdom'' teeth, they usually go ahead & extract them...but...when u have a deep filing in any tooth the inside of the tooth is frilled out to the point that in most cases the ''DENTIN''.the inside layer that is the insulator that blocks heart & cold from getting to the nerve,gets partially removed.that means that after the filing is done the nerve chamber shrinks back a little & the Dentin begins to rebuild so as to get thicker & once again be a good insulator..and that takes awhile.usually two to three weeks at most..For now eat soft foods for a day or so & do not eat or drink anything extra Hot or Cold..Good luck & l wish u well.

one cup of warm water and 4 teaspoons of salt it helps sooo much!

It will hurt for a couple of days. Fillings usually hurt for a day, extractions for about 3 days, infected gums about a week. Best thing would be do the salt treatment a day latter then maybe start using mouth wash on a regular basis.

l feel your pain as you have answered mine u know l had my wisdom removed, it also had a severe infection (tooth with an infection?) whats that about??
