it depends of lots of factors -your sensitivity to anesthetics, how long the extraction will take - BUT MY EXPERIENCE SAYS THAT THE EXTRACTION OF THE LOWER WISDOM TOOTH IS USUALLY MORE PAINFUL BECAUSE THERE IS ( IN THE LOWER JAW) ONLY ONE NERVE ( NERVUS MANDIBULARIS) AND THE PAIN AFTER EXTRACTION IS USUALLY REFLECTED TO THE WHOLE HALF OF THE JAW-AND ONE MORE THING WHICH IS ALSO IMPORTANT IS THAT THE WOUNDS HEAL A LITTLE BIT HARDER IN THE LOWER JAW

Whoa there grasshopper..that is like asking which eye can l wink best with..Any extraction problem is only difficult or not by the very same issues, which tooth is involved, Upper, Lower, Right or Left has nothing to do with it...Every extraction is an individual issue.Good luck and l wish you well.

When they took off my upper wisdom tooth they only put anesthesia and l was awake while the procedure was going on.
When they took off my bottom wisdom tooth they put me to sleep and was groggy when l woke up.
