I've had braces on for over 2 years, so the teeth are straight- and I am supposed to go to the dentist/ortho in 2 days... but like, 3 minutes ago l was eating and the back bracet (metal thing that holds the wire), fell off... glue and all- and there is this huge wire just sticking into my gums... and no dentist OR ortho is open on a Sunday.l do not have wax... how am l supposed to eat... l feel like my teeth are moving.I am freaking out, help me.

Get someone handy to cut the part that is poking you. l am sure your teeth wo not move in 2 days!

do you know anyone like a neighbor that is a dentist or ortho, call them

just drink soup and water, also take an advil to take the pain away

Call your orthodontist office. They probably have an answering service and they will have the doctor call you or a phone number to call. l would not cut anything off. Good luck

Do not worry!! l have orthodontic treatment before. It sometimes happens. Just simply take off the bracket and wait for the orthodontist to fix it. The material sticking to teeth is not glue but is dental cement. It is non-poisonous. Relax~~
