l wanna get brackets to fix my teeth. My problem is that one of the upper front teeth is sticking out from the others, and two other in theupper area are behind the rest of the ''line''. How long does it take to fix these problems? And what do you think is better, considering the looks issue too, porcelain or metallic?

The length of treatment really varies from person to person, but fixed orthodontic work usually takes at least 12-18 months. Orthodontists r usually quite cagey about saying how long u will have braces for, as they know it can change later down the line.

As for what type of brackets to get, metal ones r usually best as they r the most efficient. Porcelain looks better, but can take longer due to greater friction, & some types r susceptible to staining too. It is up to u though, as u can decide what u prefer.
