Has anyone wondered why an adult can not just grow anotherreplacement tooth after they loose their tooth?

We come stock with our teeth. They're built-in. They're not like bones, which we can often regrow. It makes sense if u imagine removing, say, ur femur. it would not regrow. You only get one femur. l mean, sure - if u break it, it will grow part of itself back as long as the damage is not that severe. But u get what u came with.

Besides, ur teeth r made of different stuff than ur bones. They do not regrow beause they're not alive (at least, the enamel part isn't).

it is estimated that in the next 5-10 years you will be able to grow your teeth back using stem cell technology, even if they are adult teeth. how good would that be!

Maybe because it will just end up with a cavity also. lol. think about it though if that was the case then that darn wisdom tooth will keep growing back over and over .. yikes.

Human body is just not designed to re-grow permanent teeth. Your primary teeth/baby teeth shed because eventually you will get replacement teeth. They are sufficient enough to get the job done. Once grown they do not grow anymore like finger nails do.

l guess you could ask the same question about your heart & lungs. Why do not they grow back or replace the damaged organ. We are just not made that way.
