l had a root canal done 2 weeks ago then last night l started with bad tooth ache and iv still got it. should l have it taken out? its a back one and im suffering.

Root canal treatment is notorious for giving problems.Go back and see/throttle your dentist.

l feel your pain. l too have root canal trouble.

It could be that your gum/tissue is still sensitive as it was only two weeks ago. Go back to your dentist. Root canal does not always work and the tooth has to be extracted.

l am steeling myself to go back to my dentist to sort it.

Is it the same tooth u had root canal on? Sometimes it takes a couple of goes for the dentist to be able to get rid of all the dead nerve.
It is up to u though if u want to have another root canal treatment & try & save the tooth or if u want it extracted. As it is at the back it wo not be noticeable but just remember a dentist will always try & persuade a patient to keep a tooth unless nothing else can be done for it.
l know ur in pain but really think about it because once a tooth is out that is it. If u have root canal done again u can say u tried & still have it extracted.

2 weeks its normal because your dentist ''kill'' your tooth. and canal are really painful. wait another 2-3 weeks and if you still got the pain go to the dentist.
