l have a gap in between my two front top teeth-not big, not small, but noticable. l had a brace when l was 13 to correct it but, they sprang back out again. l am worried that it is really unattractive. l can not laugh or smile in front of someone without worrying about it.

It is your inner self that is attractive, not the gap in your teeth.

It is ur smile & u need to be proud of it. l had a gap & had it filled first with cosmetic bonding, which looked great for many years & costs about $100-$300 per tooth. l worked for a dentist & years later l bleached my teeth which did not bleach the bonding so l had veneers put on. My teeth look & feel very natural & will last many years as long as l brush & floss regularly. The cost can be pricey $300-$1000 per tooth depending on the dentist & most insurance companies will not cover any of it. But if u think of ur mouth & smile as an investment in ur future it is a small price to pay. After all u will have ur teeth for many years, or hope to.

From the sounds of it u r not happy with the gap being there & it could be affecting ur self esteem. l had a similar problem with my teeth as l had braces when l was younger & failed to wear my retainer for the right amount of time & my front fangs now stick out. l am in the process of having orthodontic braces fitted to repair mine & l cant wait to have a great confident smile again. Id recommend u get a brace to fix the gap, it shoudl only take a year or two & then u will have a great smile & more self confidence.
