l had a wisdom tooth removed 4 days ago, they stitched my gum together, at first it was pulled nice and closely together, l assumed it would heal like that, but the stitching seems to be looser now and there is now a gap between the 2 parts of gum which food is getting stuck in!

Call your dentist. Having them dissolve faster is not what you need; you need to find out if something is given way too early, before it is properly healed. Your dentist would be better able to determine what you need and how best to treat you.

get a bottle of sulphuric acid and gargle your mouth , it wont help but it will take your mind of your it

the stitching has come loose because the swelling in the gum has gone down. It may feel like a gap in the gum but its only a big dent, u just can not get ur tongue right up into it.
Wash it out with warm salt water after you've eaten. l had a tooth out the week before last & l lost my last stitch this friday so it was nine days. If u keep up with the salt water which l know is utterly disgusting but u wont get any infection.
You could call ur dentist & ask to have them out but they may not agree, poking around with it just makes it sore.
